'Modern Regulations' is a wavy piece of hyperdynamic techno, channeling metallic synths and a whirlwinding synth lead into a hypnotic excursion. 'Echo In The Eternity' is equally attention-grabbing, with its heavy-hitting bassline and undulating synths, showcasing BLANKA’s ability to create mesmerising soundscapes. 'Strategy' balances off the high octane energy of the first two tracks with its more grave atmosphere but correspondingly fast-paced intensity. Cirkle returns to Sublunar, Sciahri’s label, following the success of "Sonic Surge," with a new EP that showcases both refinement and immense talent. This release encapsulates Cirkle's distinct sound and artistic evolution, offering a rich and immersive sonic journey.

The EP opens with "Shadows of the Past," a track driven by a pulsating, groovy synth line and dynamic drum patterns that propel the rhythm forward. It seamlessly transitions into "Beaten," a dark, hypnotic piece that envelops the listener in a shadowy atmosphere.

The B-side begins with "Shamanic," a track that pays homage to a more classic techno sound while maintaining an irresistible, steady groove. The second release on Hypnotic Journeys brings together emerging Georgian producers and celebrated names from the global techno scene, weaving a story of tension, resistance, and transcendence.

Batumi-based newcomer Grenuy opens the compilation with a debut ambient piece that feels both intimate and expansive, a slow-burning meditation on space and emotion. His work is reimagined by Van Morph, a revered producer and founder of Khoros Records, who drives the track into deeper territory with an old-school, hypnotic groove.

NFNM (formerly Kapa), a young yet distinctive voice in the Tbilisi underground, delivers a piece of textural techno rich with movement and raw emotion. The journey concludes with a powerful remix by Tsott, founder of the forward-thinking Spira Records, whose deep and cerebral approach brings the compilation full circle.

“Friction” is a testament to Hypnotic Journeys’ ethos: uniting generations, sounds, and visions through hypnotic techno as a futurist statement.
