“I made it have some subliminal themes in the video. 

The shark symbolizes any type of enemies/haters that come when being an artist, but also represents ppl trying to take control of you and ur career. As your navigating and barely escaping it, there’s a whole crowd cheering and watching you as a form of entertainment even though ur legit fighting for your life 😂 can be looked at as fans or ppl who are just entertained by you trying to survive. 

Then the speedboat scene is you after you’ve “made it” just cruising with a baddie on the coast line. That’s you in your final form, on some back to the future shit. 

The video is a perfect loop because future you almost runs you over and forced you to go back down under and keep going forward on the journey. 

The mermaid is a angel/spirit guide who leads to where you need to go/protects you from the shark that appears at first and let’s you go. She helps you but doesn’t stay there the whole time - meaning at the end of the day it’s up to you to get to where you want to be, but of course use some help along the way. 

The overall theme is what it’s like to be an artist. You’re on a CONSTANT journey into the unknown and need to navigate through all the BS/ppl tryna take you down, all while there’s a crowd to watch it all happen in real time, which they see as “fun & exciting”.  You keep going because you in your final form has been there the whole time.
