I'm happy to announce the first set of my Sekhem Soundz volume series; a homage and showcase of talented artists that paint a vibrant audio landscape in our hearts and souls. This series will be varied in house categories: organic/downtempo, afro, deep, disco, and finally...my specialty...Tech House.

SEKHEM SOUNDZ VOL. 1

Bastet is the first Ancient Egyptian Neteru that I want to introduce and dedicate this mix to. She teaches me to be playful, joyful, sensual, loving and fierce. This is essentially the vibe of the mix you are listening to, sexy and spicy.

This series will be a blending of all types of house genres, but I wanted to showcase my selection of the type of music I would play in more of a party setting.

SEKHEM SOUNDZ VOL. 2

Dive into an experience of resonance not quite like any other. Through her love of culture, ASHRAM paints a love story every time she curates a set in homage to the cultures and people she grew up around in Toronto, Ontario. Now based in Nelson, BC, her aim is to bring these melanated rhythms to life on the dance floor. 

Her Sekhem Soundz Volume series is a dedication and offering to the Goddess Sekhmet, Bastet, Mahadevi (The Supreme Godess) and the entire Neteru pantheon.  The series will be dedicated to deities, friends, family and other inspirations.
