Born to parents of African-American and indian heritage, YOUNG USH'S story began with hard times in his home city of SACRAMENTO, CA ,  where he discovered his passion to inspire people through music. YOUNG USH was the third oldest of five siblings growing up in an impoverished community. At an early age, music became his escape from stressful and challenging circumstances. He grew up listening to classic R&B, Hip Hop and Latin & indian rhythms. YOUNG USH progressed from singing songs of inspiration to his younger siblings to performing at local talent shows and concerts. By age 15, he learned to play piano and began writing songs. 
Four years ago he choose to take a leap of faith towards his dreams and hasn’t looked back since. He packed up his belongings and drove to los angeles, ca , with only 63 dollars in his pocket. YOUNG USH earned an honest living working a number of hourly waged jobs, but spent the majority of his time in the studio honing his skills, becoming seasoned in the art of making music.
YOUNG USH is an independent artist managed by the executive team of STICKY FINGAZ OF ONYX .
