Some circumstances on the side were overwhelming, but at the same time we believe that balance is key and we always knew how to have a good time and to be able to “get lit” and to stay on our grind without shifting our focus and letting one situation get to us and take over our every move.”

“This song explains how I (A$HWP) an upcoming artist, could tend to have an intimate connection with a girl and have come to realize that sometimes it could just be lust due to the fact that she gets all in my business for clout. I also described how much myself and friends love to “blaze”- another term for smoke. “Getting the check and I gotta cash out” this line has more of a personal meaning to me, it represents more of lifestyle and mindset and expresses that regardless of what’s going on around me,  I’ll always be putting in work and getting to my paper.”

A$hwp first started by producing beats and led  to discovering his voice in 2019, when he began creating Hip-Hop/Rap and Rnb/Soul genre music. The vocalist did not only recognize his voice, but furthermore his ability to write his own music. Most of his music was inspired from experiences that the rapper faced such as heartbreak, contentment and his perspective on social/visual scenery; songs namely: Voices in My Head, Beast Mode & Don’t Know Me. The artist has also released his first interlude “Speed Racer” and it is believed that he has more heat coming and a lot in store for his future 🌐.
