Nathan Germain aka Sprælle ([Sprah-lé], he/him) is a 24-yo French musician, producer, and DJ based between Montreal, Canada, and NY City, US. His work collects stimuli from multiple musical and cultural references such as contemporary laptop electronics, ambient and experimental music, as well as mainstream pop and videogame soundtracks. These, in particular, had a role in inspiring his debut EP called CRUSH UP, appeared early last year on the Spanish label xenonyms, which enacted a lively confrontation between lo-fi components and sharp sonic bursts on the foreground of energetic and eventful progressions.

Other than releasing several single tracks from 2019 onward, Sprælle already appeared twice on the Montreal-based platform Audio Bambino, with the tracks Aïsha and Gravel on this 2nd and 7th compilations respectively. Also, the artist hosts monthly residencies on Montreal’s N10.AS and Tunis’ Ma3azef radios, called Bleed In The Underground and Rearranged Existence. On this occasion, we're happy to present you with a one-track single written and produced by Sprælle, a 20-minutes mammoth composition called Ropes To Eternity Lead Nowhere which has been reportedly designed to take the listener through multifaceted sceneries of abstract realities.

Engaging on the challenge of blurring the boundaries between genres via different compositional solutions and production techniques such as time-stretching, field recording manipulation, and digital saturation, just to name a few, Ropes To Eternity Lead Nowhere is a challenging, free-form yet well-conducted journey into Sprælle’s take on electronic music, delicate and impassioned at the same time. In the track, a mutable collage of sound and rhythmical components is patched together around a central theme of wonder and discovery, which is declined in distensive moments of relaxation, tense passages of agitation, and abrasive, emotional junctures. All the drives behind Sprælle’s creation process converge into an organic tale of an ever-changing life creature arising from a pond of scattered materials and manifesting itself in its diverse, unseizable shapes, until the final abrupt conclusion. 6G is the child of a hollow moon, unwritten histories of permaculture deities in the levant, pagan conspiracies about haunted birthrights, texts buried in lunatic obscurity, communication with the evil smile of a goddess, bells designed to be wrung three times in the night, childish blood games, farmers with occult crops.

The duo of Oxhy and Susu Laroche have chosen the name The Fertile Crescent, evoking one of the cradles of human civilization as much as a (un)healthy devotion to the power of the lunar cycle. Musically, it reeks of post-industrial folklore ripe with solemn tones and conflicting bits, combined via the mocking dream logic of a trickster spirit. A skeletal presence of melody in a sparse, ceremonial ambiance that can even welcome thunderous rolls of breakbeat, like tapping from the energy of every ritual that has scarred the land in time. Following the record is like attempting at drawing a psychic topography of those same rituals, manifestations, tragedies and games, it’s like mistaking the broadband network for the Ley lines but still succeeding in conquering its occult power.

the fertile crescent - cant let you live again

"Глибина" is a collaborative track by artist Comecehelet and katharsis label-founder jjjacob, and is a part of the collaborative release between labels including Ma3azef, Club Late Music, #internetghetto, re.core & CRUDE. This collaborative release aims to merge the universes and styles of different independent artists, as well as their communities.

Comechelet wanted to collaborate with labels from various countries across the world to make the internet community around electronic music groups, and to show that geographical distance and international conflicts don't prevent artists from working together.

The theme of this album is water, its flow, its sound and its natural environment. As always, we try to bring in a touch of poetry, science fiction and fantasy. The title of the collaborative album is "Чиста вода", which translates to "pure water".

crumble crack dawn song

Lately I shifted my attention again a bit more towards my progressive and experimental Bronzi alias. This one started as the 'outdoor battery challenge' where I went out into the sun and tried producing something (obviously inspired by the surrounding) before the laptop battery dies. It started with the deep synth arp line and I then developed more of a beat around it but decided to keep the stripped down chill out version as the original. So yes, there is also a proper club mix of that track coming later this year... Anyway, this track is about beautiful sunsets which get a soursweet taste if you experience them in the wrong place. Kind of the goodbye track to my IBK times.
