Well, you all know that my musical tastes and stuff vary well outside techno and more brutal faster stuff that a great deal of us like including myself at the right time. To be honest, after years of banging away I do prefer the more refined and slower stuff so in comes Asipu my new project. What is Asipu?  It was the Medicine man in ancient Mesopotamia using magic or energy work to help people in need and since I became a reiki therapist amongst other things over the last few years in my absence during covid, I thought it to be fitting  I hope you all like it.

Over the last 15 years or so Trance music has been getting closer and closer to the Spiral Tribe Hardtec/Tribe genre. Harder beats 160 bpm and more etc. It was great to be able to play to this audience and get such positive feedback. The lines are blurring between the scenes music which is great let's come together !!

A massive cheers to Typ for providing the recorder, Eva for being an absolute star and getting the keys to the cable room and the person who got the missing AA Batterie with out you this mix would have not been recorded.

After that it took me a good 20 minutes to catch the wave, it was the last set in the RÄUBXHÖHLE stage from 4:15 - 6:00am at the Zusammen party. Very sad about the closing of this club, top space, always had a blast but wouldn’t be anything without their wicked team that kept having it over the years.  Big up to you lot, you made something very special in Berlin, it’s our turn now.

Better known as Jeff23. Asipu has been on a musical journey spanning over 33 years. 
He has been on a personal journey of transformation, inner change and evolution since 2017.
2020 was a rocky but enlightening year, and amid the global shutdown, he temporarily moved his base from Europe to SE Asia where he took further steps forward. During the lockdowns, he explored, studied, absorbed and digested everything from different viewpoints and,  as a result of wondrous encounters achieved  Master level in his Reiki practice.
 Having reconfirmed via his new knowledge how much music can heal people, he set sail into new fields of music, regardless of his past recognition. He called his new project "ASIPU" (also the name of the ancient Mesopotamian therapists ). More downtempo genre and free, he persists with the cutting-edge sounds and the essence of the "body dancing on its own" that he is best known for, the vibration of love in the music remains the same as when he started DJing. 
  In 2020 He started an event in Asia called Otaku with his partner to share and gather wisdom and techniques with locals and people from abroad on how to live in this turbulent era. Based on a  musical soundtrack including various spiritual practices, therapists,  movement, organic food,  permaculture and upcycling workshops with a local market etc. Guided from the higher plains this event increased the motivation of many people to get with the program and provided them with the freedom to participate,  learn, dance and meet new people.

Il a entamé un voyage personnel de transformation, de changement intérieur et d'évolution depuis 2017.
L'année 2020 a été rocailleuse mais éclairante, et au milieu de la fermeture mondiale, il a temporairement déplacé sa base de l'Europe à l'Asie du Sud-Est où il a fait de nouveaux pas en avant. Pendant les fermetures, il a exploré, étudié, absorbé et digéré tout ce qui se trouvait sous différents points de vue et, à la suite de rencontres merveilleuses, il a atteint le niveau de Maître dans sa pratique du Reiki.
 Ayant reconfirmé, grâce à ses nouvelles connaissances, à quel point la musique peut guérir les gens, il s'est lancé dans de nouveaux domaines musicaux, indépendamment de sa reconnaissance passée. Il a appelé son nouveau projet "ASIPU" (également le nom des anciens thérapeutes mésopotamiens). Plus downtempo et libre, il persiste avec les sons d'avant-garde et l'essence du "corps qui danse tout seul" pour lequel il est le plus connu, la vibration d'amour dans la musique reste la même qu'à ses débuts de DJing . 
.  En 2020, il a lancé un événement en Asie appelé Otaku avec son partenaire pour partager et rassembler la sagesse et les techniques avec les locaux et les personnes de l'étranger sur la façon de vivre dans cette ère turbulente. Basé sur une bande sonore musicale comprenant diverses pratiques spirituelles, des thérapeutes, du mouvement, de la nourriture biologique, des ateliers de permaculture et d'upcycling avec un marché local, etc. Guidé depuis les hautes plaines, cet événement a motivé de nombreuses personnes à suivre le programme et leur a donné la liberté de participer, d'apprendre, de danser et de rencontrer de nouvelles personnes.
