Even if you look closely at the names on the map, it is hardly the first time that it will be so easy to find among them Oufie - a mechanized city in which life flows side by side with two complementary extremes - snow storms and sweeping away everything in its path industrial machines.
Once majestic steam giants proudly looked down on the inhabitants of the city streets and eventually grew to such proportions that they forced the residential sector to the very outskirts with their influence.
It's hard to believe, but a few decades ago everything was arranged differently here. Since people learned about midnight crystals and mastered the art of building machines to perfection, comprehending the extraction and processing of the treasured resource in a passion, much has changed.
Thirst for profit, rivalry and the coldness of human relationships have replaced the sincerity of strong ties and the warmth of home comfort, once sacred to human hearts, thereby turning the northern summer into a sharp winter.
And yet, hope is still in the air - one day the ice will break, and the sun will again return to the snowy valley of the craft world under the romantic name of Oufie ❄

Oufie

Soft fluffs, amicably nourished by the warmth of sunlight, slowly hovered over the earth that had changed beyond recognition. From the outside, their smooth movements looked more like a free dance, which has the property of a mystery not solved by the human race.
Everywhere there was the smell of roses - small islands of bushy buds now and then came across at every step and, barely shaking their heads, were bewitchingly talking to each other.
As if adopting the behavior of blossoming flowers, the trees reaching for the flawless azure of the sky swayed their emerald leaves to the beat of the gliding breeze and responded to its innocent play with a measured meek rustle.
And in this sweet bliss, it seemed that the houses were reaching out to the alluring embrace of the sun, eagerly striving to imprint on their double-slope crown of yellow bricks the traces left by the radiant touches of mother spring. Following the blissful mystery, nature with its once familiar course was filled with different shades. And if now it was perceived more as a routine, a few decades ago it seemed an unprecedented luxury and a distant dream...

Intro: Feathers

Alseida was born on one of those silent nights that, in the usual scenario, with great rarity fall to the lot of mechanized cities like Oufie. Under other circumstances, the sonorous cry of a baby could be drowned in a stream of  machine s rumbling, but interruptions in electricity did their job.
For several hours, a snowy, meek silence had reigned in the city, as if lulling the streets darkened from lack of light with its measured veil. In anticipation of something irreversible, Oufie held his breath, diluting the slumber hanging over his existence with the alluring purity of the vault of heaven, on which the moon gracefully floated, surrounded by sparkling lights-stars.
At such a late hour, it was hardly possible to find signs of life in the windows of the folding houses - a couple of hours ago, the last lost soul, walking on the snow crunching underfoot, had finally reached its home, and having stepped over the familiar threshold, plunged into the kingdom of Morpheus.
And only in the center of the handicraft quarter, not yet completely eaten up by rapid industrialization, through the mosaic of patterned stained glass of fogged glass on that serene night, one could see the lively play of candles breaking out of the general order.
Elfie, with tired eyes, but sparkling with female happiness, watched the baby, finally calmed down in her arms, and carefully ran her fingers over the edge of the white chintz, in which her tiny daughter, who still knew nothing about the world around her, was lovingly wrapped.A little later, her mother will affectionately call her her snow fairy, admiring for a long time the ringlets of light curls falling on fragile whitish shoulders; sparkles of cornflower blue eyes and the warmth of a mischievous, childishly pure smile. Her bright kind soul.
In the meantime, the heart of Elfie, who was quietly humming a fairy tale familiar to her from the old days about the bright sun and green fields dotted with blooming flowers, only sincerely wished to protect the defenseless tiny creature from the tenacious paws of winter and give her all the colors of their small fragile world in their best manifestation.
