Stephen Medeiros, celebrated for his iconic project Kaminanda, returns to Altar Records with an exquisite new EP under his latest moniker, Mykorhiza. Drawing on nearly two decades of sonic exploration, he delivers a captivating psychill-cinematic journey through four immersive tracks.

The opening piece, "Forest Gateway," gently invites listeners into an enchanting soundscape, lush with textured atmospheres and subtle organic rhythms that evoke the serenity and mystique of a hidden woodland sanctuary. Red Sun Rising, the evocative Polish psychill project helmed by Michał Niecikowski, returns once more with 'The Moon', a dreamy two‑track EP spotlighting the ethereal vocal of Alia Fay. Released under Altar Records, this EP arrives nearly four years after the profoundly 'Forest Stories Ep' and continues to embody that same organic, melodic vibe that fans have come to cherish.

Track 1 opens with gently undulating pads and a sense of dawn-like emergence. Alia’s voice, warm and haunting, coils around a serene flute melody, creating a feeling of floating between dream and sunrise.
Track 2 deepens the journey with pulsating rhythms and richer textural layers. Alia’s vocals here weave with subtle electronic echoes, reinforcing the psychill palette while retaining a sense of ritualistic intimacy.

Michał’s production shines through in both pieces, organic instrumentation (flute, field-like atmospheres) blends seamlessly with modern sound design, evoking landscapes both familiar and surreal.
Alia Fay’s performance is the surface jewel, her vocals are pure, floating, and deeply emotive; her 
flute lines, where present, add a timeless dimension.

The title track has been doing the rounds via Slav's youtube channel, which has been bringing the emotion out of people in the comments section.  We decided to bring in long time collaborater with 2XM, Neil Macleod to do a vocal version, to really pluck at the heart strings, the end result is very special.

I Don't Feel Pain, is one that really brings the feels out, listen to it with the sun shining on your face! 

Nausea is one for the white island... dead balearic innit! You can imagine drinking a 25euro pint listening to this on repeat... and not being that mad. 

It's cute, it's fancy but it's not too dance-y
