What is Anthroposophy? In the simplest terms “Anthroposophy”” comes from the Greek work “anthropos” meaning (human) and “sophia” meaning (wisdom) and these two words combined create concept called the “wisdom of the human being” otherwise known as anthroposophy.

Anthroposophy is based on Rudolph Steiner’s insights into the nature of the human being, the cosmos, and the interconnectedness of all things. It’s important to note that Anthroposophy is a a personal journey, quest, and human need that guides us to understand ourselves better by experiencing ourselves as whole, otherwise known as the threefold human being. Also referred to as the body, soul, and spirit. This study requires us to apply our own senes and own mental processes. I was particularly drawn to this study as it really is a self-study and self-guided, leaving no room to adhere to dogma or a written religion. It truly is a personal and self reliant experience and education.

Each character serves as a mirror of the soul’s condition:  The Dormouse, ever drifting between sleep and speech, represents the dormant wisdom that stirs when the soul becomes still. The Cheshire Cat, with his disembodied smile and vanishing form, appears as a karmic presence—one who knows all paths lead to the same awakening. The Queen of Hearts embodies a distorted will and unbalanced power of the heart and head.
