I released two singles under the artist name The Late Bloomers, "I Wanna Do This Thing" (November 2017), and "Golden Dusty Road" (January 2018), before I changed to my real name as my artist name in the fall of 2018. Both singles were re-released under my real name, with new b-sides December 2018. I was invited to play at the annual singer-songwriter evening for "up-and-coming artists" in my county in November 2018. Also, in late 2018, another of my songs "We All Feel the Rain" achieved a runner up placement in the Song of the Year songwriting contest. The song was co-written With John K. Aspinwall (a former UK Songwriting Contest winner) and mixed by Ronny Janssen (Kylie Minogue, Ina Wroldsen etc.). Finally, the song was mastered by Peter Michelsen of Donkeyboy and released December 2019. In December 2019, I also released my first single in Norwegian, called "Kjøsterud" - a song about the school I'm working at, in Drammen, Norway.

I started playing organ at age 10, but has later changed to acoustic guitar as my main instrument. I wrote my first song when I was 13, but has since mid 90s, come up with new ideas almost weekly. In early 2000s, I recorded around 30 demoes (none of which were ever released), and began playing at "open mic" concerts in Oslo, Norway. In 2016, I decided I had to do something with the more than 1000 song ideas that I had, so in 2017 I went into studio and cut two of my favorites. But there is much more to come!! On SoundCloud you can listen to my singles, along with other songs I have recorded at home. Hope you like my music:-)

I love to listen to music myself, from indie, americana, pop, rock, psychedelic and progressive to country, early heavy rock, britpop and southern rock. Also, I collect vinyl records. Some of my favorite artists include Grateful Dead, Jason Isbell, Ryan Adams, Jonathan Wilson, Blackberry Smoke, Miranda Lee Richards, Led Zeppelin, Dylan LeBlanc, The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Genesis, Yes, Fats Domino, Elvis, Madrugada, Bigbang, Band of Horses, Chris Robinson Brotherhood, Phosphorescent, Gospelbeach, The War On Drugs and many, many more. I work as a teacher (in English, Music and Religion/Ethics) and write songs in my spare time.
