Gost Zvuk invites Vlad Dobrovolski (@vladislav-dobrovolski), a multidisciplinary artist also known as Fitz Ellarald. Vlad also takes part in trio kurvenschreiber and S A D duo. 

A couple of words about the mox from Vlad himself: 

"I invite you to listen to the new, rare, and little-known works from my projects and the projects of my friends. Here you will hear a familiar attraction to the sounds of water, bird songs, and the buzzing of insects, and a vibrant love for pastoral keyboard motifs. I delved even deeper into the tension between natural and artificial - this mixtape is still a projection of observations of nature, in my opinion, and here they are expressed in a hyper-synthetic language, carefully thought out by me.

Although this work is less illusive than the earlier ones, much of it carries the hope that my colleagues and I have for organic or "ecological music" – it could also be called an object or soundscape that can be listened to easily and airily. This is not music that excites or transports the listener to another world, it encourages you to float like smoke and become part of the environment that surrounds you, the listener.

In other words, it is music that creates a strong connection with people in everyday life... Moreover, this mix is not an attempt at self-expression or a complete work of art, rather, it brings together music that, by merging and moving, changes the character and meaning of space, things, and people."

Wingnut is the moniker of Gadigal-based DJ Liam Taylor. With a penchant for the nooks, crannies and margins of dance music, Wingnut splices screwball electronica, fleeting melodies and reckless drum programming with a dubwise sensibility. Piecing together a murky psychedelia for the body and mind. Alongside Sydney stalwart ‘D-Grade’, Wingnut is also one half of ‘boof’, a semi-frequent (i.e. when they feel like it) DIY party devoted to all things left-field. 

This mix is an ode to driving alone at night, weaving poetic melodies and bedroom glitch with a swaying psychedelia. A mix for after the party and being alone.

Q. How long have you been a part of the NYC music scene?
A. Around six years. It all started when I met Justin Strauss at my first job at Red Bull Studios. I became friends with him and he would add me to the guest list for some of his parties in Brooklyn. After that, I started meeting more cute people in the Brooklyn music scene and took the chance of playing music myself + doing a lot of Bossa happy hours. 

Q. Tell us a little bit about this mix.
A. This is a hypnotic cyber spa with a misty twist.
