Le nouvel EP "Cake", qui sortira le 18 mai 2018, est le fruit de la réunion inédite du duo de producteurs Nikitch et Kuna Maze. Formés tout d’abord à travers l’apprentissage de la musique classique, Nikitch étudie la flûte traversière et Kuna Maze la trompette. Nos deux musiciens s’ouvrent peu à peu à de nouveaux langages tels que le jazz et la musique électronique. Avec leurs récents albums solo, ils obtiennent le soutien d’artistes de renom tels que Gilles Peterson, Laurent Garnier, Lefto, 20Syl ou encore Grems (Nikitch a produit plusieurs titres de son dernier album Sans titre #7) et celui de médias de références français et internationaux (Fact, xlr8r, Mixmag, Solid Steel, Tsugi, Trax, Télérama ...). 
C'est animé de cette énergie qu'ils conçoivent leur nouvel opus dans une ambiance Jazz, House progressive & Chill-out . Les 5 morceaux qui composent "Cake" sont aussi le syncrétisme parfait de leurs deux univers, avec la richesse des couleurs du Jazz mêlées à l’énergie frénétique du Footwork de Nikitch combiné aux textures syntho - cosmiques granuleuses de Kuna Maze. Les titres s’équilibrent ensembles de façon très homogène procurant à l'écoute l'effet d'une douce symphonie joyeuse et chaleureuse. Le premier morceau 'Another One' nous convie à une Jam session chaude soufflant le calme d'une brise d'été tout de suite suivi du morceau liquide Downtempo 'Jazz & Shit'. Puis suit l'interlude très flottante 'Potheads' qui nous rappelle le meilleur du son de l'époque Stax. Le reveil Deep house soulful sonne avec 'Random Synth Jam #136' qui marque la fusion sonore totale des deux producteurs achevée par le titre final Glith-hop 'Sunday eggs', en clin d’œil à la scène L.A beat. L'oscillation entre Jazz, Downbeat et Hip Hop procure un éventail groove subtile, en offrant une texture acoustique Unplugged des plus intime et totalement irrésistible à l'écoute de "Cake".
