Dropping his debut single on A Tribe Called Kotori next is Vienna's Stefan Obermaier with the lush and dreamy rolling house number, 'Cala'. While Stefan's been on our radar for a while, we're now psyched to welcome him to the fold with two cuts that ooze a perfect balance of dreamy escapism and deep, dance-floor-ready uplift. Built around a 6/8 rhythm, delivering both momentum and spaciousness at once, the lead-single, 'Cala' beckons us onto a path of sonic elation whilst keeping us grounded throughout the trip somehow. Inspired by the kaleidoscopic beauty of life and voyage, Obermaier treats us to finely arranged slices of layered, meditative electronics and spiral-like sound architectonics. WTSE continues its sonic journey with a new release that explores the depths of organic house: 'UFO Activity.' This release features Taleman and Devaloka, two artists capable of blending hypnotic grooves and ethereal atmospheres in a perfect balance of energy and melodic sensitivity.

This was a project I managed to revive from 15 years ago. I had mixed feelings Revisiting those old, tweaked settings inside the project file. Kind of haunting... like meeting a past version of myself, but also freeing. The track is ethereal and atmospheric; I concentrated on giving the mix plenty of air without overcrowding with FX. Long ago, the music came to me watching a sunrise with a friend, so surreal and beautiful, we were hallucinating wonderful things together that couldn’t last. Some things you don't forget, thanks for checking it out. -G
