For a long time I've wanted to revisit this song to further develop one of our scrapped ideas for the song. I had the most fun working on Astral Sea for Fragments, and it's one of my favorite songs I've ever made. I have this set to free download, if it hits the cap I'll upload it somewhere else as well. Within the Shattered Coast, the boundaries between realms have begun to dissolve. For centuries, the inner planes have been accessible through rare arcane anomalies. However, an excessive amount of magical energy has been released recently. The Divine Plane, the home of Gods, has been exposed to the mortal realm. Vain mortals seeking ascendency will travel to the divine gateway, oblivious to the impending devastation contact with this plane will cause to their world. A being known only as The Celestial has called upon powerful adventurers to forgo ascension and close the gateway to prevent a catastrophe.

heyo! it's been a long time since ive released a solo track, the last ones being with the release of Light Spirit (wow it's rly been a while). ive learned so much since then, and even then it still feels like idk what im doing. ive been trying to write this song since around 2019, when it was part of a now scrapped album i was going to write after Light Spirit. i wanted to put it in Fragments but it ended up evolving into Celestial Bloom which is an entirely different thing in-universe (maybe it'll all be explained one day lol). this version of the song was written over the course of the last 2 months for a class i was doing in college. my goal with it was to prove to myself i still remember how to make music, and with this ive been thinking about the direction i want my music to go in. for now, i dont have any plans for a big album release and i dont want to have any other big promises to work towards for a while. for now i'll be releasing stuff pretty spontaneously as singles. there will definitely still be an interconnected story, if it'll be told in order idk. maybe i'll make it into a little ep or something by the end of the year. but for now ima just keep having fun telling my stories through music.

hey everyone! i've been super busy with work (just started my career in engineering) so i haven't had much time to work on music. with the time i do have, i've been having a ton of fun trying out some new musical ideas. this was something that i made mostly in one session with EchoEmission. i was trying to help them mix a new song they were working on that had a lot of potential, but ended up writing something entirely new based off of the intro melody! i had a lot of fun with this one and i'm really proud of it, so i hope everyone else will enjoy it too. also, this is going to be part of an EP. not sure exactly what it's called or when it'll be out but someday it'll all come together. thanks, and see you next time.

You stumble upon the Alynthian's abandoned university, uncovering a tear in reality.

The search for the any remnants of the Alynthians has been unsuccessful. Their city lies in a state of frozen motion, as if everyone disappeared at once. An unusual beam of light is being emitted from the Empyrean University. Its staggering towers float in the sky far above the city, suspended by a mysterious magical alloy few know of. Perhaps one of the sage's experiments had gone awry...

heyo! I had a ton of fun writing this song. it was my first time trying out a sort of hard techno + neuro genre like this but man did i love it. it reminded me of writing the first drop of Fragments (which is still one of my favorite things I've made) but better. i might have to work on some more stuff in this style sometime soon. im working on 2 more songs for this story, they will both be released at the same time and be wrapped together in a little thing im just going to call the "Divine Plane EP." I'm maybe 50% done with one song and still in the ideation phase of another, so it might be a couple months out. Thanks for your support as always.

Those who opened the Divine Plane had its wrath unleashed upon them. A talented Spirit Guide, Ada, had freed a legendary being who sought to return to the Mortal Plane through her. As her skin cracked apart, her Soul was to be devoured to be replaced with that of the Spiritwyrm. The eons-old deity has no remorse for the fragile and temporary lives of mortals, attempting to purge her with overwhelming magic coursing through her Soul. Through the pain, all that prevailed was her Will - and that is all that must remain to preserve some fragment of her soul.
