I must say that this set is one of a kind. I never heard these deep sounds in a dub techno set, I wish it was more common - yet again: do I really? Good stuff. Is it half live with some tracks? Good to hear Ursula Rucker in there.

156 minutes of dub techno and ambient, featuring releases from ASC, Aura Minimum, Mr. Cloudy, Yagya, Mathimidori, Martin Stürtzer, Baigø, Deadbeat and Om Unit, Resoe, Warmth, and more in the tracklist.

After a year long hiatus, Reactor Room returns to the meditation chamber with generous 156-minute-long, in-depth dub techno soundscape expedition. This set spans across wide range of BPM from 106 up to 130s, with occasional ambient tracks and atmosphere, and bits of uplifting and upbeat moments.

Avenue Red's BIG 200 10x mix compendium takes further form with the addition of another set of sonic shapes and moods from the Manchester-based deepness merchants, Quadrant Soundscape AKA Tommy "Asphalt Layer" Harrison & Wilson Logan. These are also the guys who are behind the excellent mix show, Dub Explorations, whose events at Eastern Bloc Records have been involving Avenue Red's own Alec Pritchard on the regular lineups during the last 18 months. This is the duo's second contribution to the podcast with yet another stunning gourmet of tripped-out, dubbed-out weapons.

Seabra Monkey:
My love for music is divers. From Classical all the way to rock ‘n roll. I am originally a drummer and switched to producing when the DAWs came largely available. When House music emerged it was love at first sight and ever since has been a big influence in my musical aspirations. My love for Dub dates back to the time I was heavily into Reggae and Dub Reggae. The legendary rhythm section Robbie Shakespeare and Sly Dunbar taught me the way in what a solid rhythm section does for any kind of music in general. Its creates freedom for all other instruments involved. This freedom became more clear when I listened to Frank Zappa. He is my inspiration, a musical genius with a free spirit in improvising. He is the reason why creating edits of the tracks I use in my mixes, became part of my normal mixing routine. For me it’s all about creating a storyline from beginning till the end. Adding my own sauce is part of that process. Although my DJing skills comes from the days I was spinning the decks with vinyl, I consider myself today a producer. I love vinyl for it superb sound, but have to admit that the digital era gave me the tools and freedom to do what I love the most and that is producing Dub Techno. I feel the DUBBISM mixtape came out well and I do hope you all will like it too. If you do, pls hit me up on my socials.
