Covenant - Like Tears In Rain [influenced by BR]

On April 9th I invite you to join me in the “Dead Zone” - the fourth installment of my 12 songs in 12 months project. Inspired by the music of my youth, “Dead Zone” is a blend of 90’s Alternative and modern synthwave. A gritty breakbeat provides the backbone for winding arpeggios, swirling synths and soaring vocals. It chronicles my personal struggles with mental health and desire to change for the better. The single includes a remix by SIERRA, one of my favorite new producers. 

The artwork was achieved by superimposing the image of a skull onto my face with a projector. Like with all the singles this year, the photos were shot on an iPhone with no additional post production outside of contrasting. The text is built into the raw image.
