The 45th edition of Juicebox Radio welcomes - Dimuth K. Born in Sri Lanka and currently based in Toronto, Canada Dimuth has been on the forefront of inspiring the new generation of Sri Lankan Electronic music scene. He has shared the decks with names like Nick Warren, Jeremy Olander, Guy J, Cid Inc to name a few and has had stunning releases on imprints such as Sudbeat, Plattenbank, Edge and many more. In 2018 he made his debut on our label by remixing Ziger's "Razor" found on our label's third volume of "Untold Stories" which is also a highlight in the label's retrospective "The Collection: Volume 3". Dimuth also made an appearance on the label's ambient compilation "Tales of Time - Chapter 1" in 2019, in collaboration with Joel Fernando titled "Manu." Now in 2021, he is back on our imprint with a forthcoming Reverie mix of Jiminy Hop's "Contemplation" and to celebrate it, we're stoked to have Dimuth K on our show with an exclusive 1 hour mix. Lucas Khabie a.k.a. "Kabi (AR)" is a DJ and music producer from Buenos Aires, Argentina. He began his studies at the age of 10, playing the guitar, and later continued with percussion instruments like Congas, Cajón, Surdo, Claves and Body percussion. At the moment he is studying a variety of composition and improvisation techniques.

At the same time, he got into the electronic music world listening to DJs like Hernán Cattaneo, Nick Warren, John Digweed, Tale Of Us and many others. Under their influence, he decided to start a career as a DJ and a few months later as a producer, focusing on Progressive House genre and its variants.

At his young age of 22 years old he has signed original productions on great labels such as The Soundgarden, PlattenBank, Juicebox, Balkan Connection and Freegrant Music just to name a few. He also has received support from important DJs of the scene like Hernán Cattaneo, Guy J, Nick Warren, Guy Mantzur, Henry Saiz, Tony McGuinness (Above and Beyond), Chicola, Ezequiel Arias, Antrim and many more.

As a DJ, he always tries to write a narrative, focused on interesting melodies, danceable grooves and some vocals from time to time. The stories told in his sets involve more than one single genre most of the times: from Organic House to Progressive, Deep House, Tech House and Melodic House & Techno.

Asraar has played well defined early & closing sets to Nick Warren, Sebastien Leger, Dmitry Molosh, Stan Kolev & More, along with his recent open to close at The Tao Terraces in Bangalore. 

Giving back to the nightlife is what gave life to Nights Of Hedone, an audio visual project that's a brainchild of Weird Sounding Dude, Mantis Shrimp Creative & himself. Host of a weekly radio show Reflections, he’s also been at work in his studio on his originals.
