"Robosonic has been a pivotal part of Off Recordings roster, their releases being highly expected every time and usually meaning instant dancefloor melting magic. With a hip hop and techno background and adding many frequent flyer miles with worldwide gig schedule, the pair shows no sign of stopping. This time is no exception, Cord and Sacha get back in their creative roll of sample wizardry to provide two mouth watering jams. They once again prove their love for organic sounds and reivindicate the use of the turntable as an instrument, adding that old-school vibe to their trademark beats.

“Macho Madness" is quite a trip, sweet rhodes over a bouncy bassline, great sample work adding guitars and an insane speech. As always, breakdowns are intense and its impossible not to dance to the groove!

For the second track, Robosonic joins another Off family team, Mat.Joe and together they go deep into their hip hop influences again working the samples as only they could, a little disco flavor, a driving bass...All the ingredients are there for another instant classic and a respectful shout out to Detroit producer legend J Dilla, who left the game too early. Hot Creations artist de Jour Mineo delivers a cheeky, british interpretation with his trademark hooky, thumping basslines and unexpected twists and turns.

Newcomers Turbo Turbo bring it with an Elektro-esque, some may even say Acidic take on Thomas Schumachers original.

15 West 127th has a big, booming kick, a hypnotic vocal sample and is based around a vintage synth sequence and a classic Chicago "clap-on-the-one" groove.

!Organism welcome Ukrainian producer Roman Gertz into their tight knit techno family with this new EP that comes with a remix from Ant Prescott. 

After just three years producing and DJing Gertz has established himself on the international scene with Beatport Chart topping releases on Italo Business, 1605, Frequenza Records and more. The three essential techno tracks he serve up here prove just why. 

‘New Drums’ goes first and arrives with rooted drums trudging along like a train. Piston sounds, white noise splashes and distant industrial grumbles help add an ominous atmosphere as the track slowly grows in presence, whilst nagging, paranoid synths circling in the distance like a predator round its prey. 

Next effort ‘Hypnotherapy’ sure is aptly named with it’s circling, spinning hooks, squelchy claps and interloping kick drums all rotating in perfect synchronisation so before long you are lost in the loops. It’s a great place to be. 

‘DX Fivescore’ rumbles with real menace right from the word go. The percussion slaps and splashes with real purpose, a squirreling bassline burrows ever deeper and distant fog horn sounds mean a foreboding sense of doom grows ever more loud. 

Respekt Recordings artist Ant Prescott is a fast rising talent who remixes the track into something that will mess with your mind even more – saw tooth synths see-saw up and down and incendiary kicks and icy hi hats all work to an ever more frenzied high. 

This is perfectly functional techno that also paints plenty of cerebral images in your mind, meaning both head and heel are equally happy throughout.

Half a decade together. OFF Recordings has proudly reached the 5 year birthday mark and we are happy to share our celebrations with our loyal fans with an extended tour and a very exciting release project. First comes a 3-way collaboration with our label boss André Crom teaming up with breakthrough producer Chi Thanh and vocal wizard Kevin Knapp to deliver "While You Stand" a deep house bass-driven tune with dominating rap vocals and clever synth arrangements to create a hip-house dancefloor vibe.

Next in line we got the praised duo Leftwing & Kody getting in the studio with another couple of brilliant creators, Kruse & Nurnberg, to launch "Turning", a bass-house killer packed with diva vocal snippets and all the ingredients to become a stand out track in any house mix.

Another important part of our family are the guys from Robosonic and Mat.joe...who get back together after their great "Got Game" release and send us yet another fantastic bass-house inspired song, with cool vocal sampling and an infectious flow.

To close up the package, hit-maker Purple Disco Machine and Teenage Mutant pair up to produce "Little Treehouse", a more percussive number, with a great groove, hip hop stabs and string and an overall mysterious yet dancefloor friendly vibe that will sure drive everyone mad...
