The Assassenachs are a Scottish/Dutch trio based in Groningen, The Netherlands.  The band have been hammering out uptempo and authentic Celtic acoustic folk rock since the turn of the millenium and have played all accross Europe in Irish bars, festivals and events.   The Line-up is Steve Dewar on vocals and acoustic guitar, Greig Coutts on bodhran and vocals and Erik de Jong on accordion and whistle. Occasionally The Assassenachs play with a 4th member - Katherine Macleod on flute and singing puirt-a-beul gaelic vocals.
