Swinging into our eardrums from beautiful British Columbia, JPOD The Beat Chef brings us his dazzling new EP, Taking a Deep Breath, out today (5/5) on Addictech Records. The crafty Canadian blends psychedelic swing, heart-pounding percussion, and plenty of bass into this smorgasbord of delectable delicacies.

"Casa de Selva" employs some brass stabs to accompany all that bass. The groove-laden cut will plaster a perma-grin across your face as you duck and weave with the addicting rhythm. Clap your hands and pump your fists to this one--it's a spectacular display of JPOD's production prowess, amongst a bevy of fun and funky tracks. We see this one cruising to the top of the glitch-hop charts.

An emerging funk duo composed of Rygol and Bobb Tracks, Funkstatik brings the old Motown sound fused with glitchy bass and catchy melodies.
