Starbound (2013) OST - 30 - M54

This turned out well. I took the original sequencing data from the DS games and converted it to MIDI with VGMTrans and then used a whole bunch of orchestra sample cds with Kontakt to turn this out. This was a bitch to work on in terms of project files are concerned. FL Studio really hates saving/loading projects with Kontakt. And due to the amount of channels, panning, and all this other stuff in the MIDI - it took up a lot of memory resulting in the project sometimes crashing during playback. So to get it done, this was the first time I had to take each instrument and render them separately and then create a multichannel track in FL Studio, which is easier to do but sometimes unnecessary unless you're dealing with prerecorded tracks. I forget what libraries I used though, but the sample CDs I used were sold sometime in the late 90s. Pretty good for back then. The part near the end sounds like something from Grandia 2/3/Xtreme, but it could've used more work though.

The synth/Iwadare part also used sample cds, except for the synth bass which is using Korg Monopoly VSTi I think
