Today we’re lucky enough to be premiering what someone in the office just referred to as a ‘serious nugget.’ Yeah, OK, so that person was me. And yes, I did say it to myself, in my head, after listening to it over and over again; but the fact remains and it is what it is. The Critical Music signed drum & bass producer, Emperor’s'She Said VIP’ – which will be exclusively available from the Critical store this Monday – is superlatively frenetic, heaving it’s way out of the rousing build up introduction with the sort of lurching industrial bassline that’ll set most dancefloors afire. The full Into Black EP will be released on vinyl and digital this coming Monday, but we’re toasting the publication of the EP’s pre-order link here today because it ties in nicely with the fact that we recently announced the next Critical Sound date (10th July) where you’ll be able to witness Emperor going B2B with The Upbeats.
