Assimilate is a 5 piece, modern metal band from Oslo/Drammen, Norway.

The sound of Assimilate is in the genre of Soilwork, Mercenary, Scar Symmetry, Sybreed, Devin Townsend etc. Groovy riffs, catchy hooks mixed with beautiful synth orchestral landscapes, is the trademark of Assimilates music.

Originally Assimilate started as a project by drummer Ole Kristian in 2010 and became a full band in 2013.
Between them, the band members has extensive live experience from tours and shows around the world and have several album releases. The band consist of previous and current members of bands like Ragnarok, System Shock, Thunderbolt and more.

Assimilte released a self produced EP/demo in 2014 and is currently writing for their debut album with a projected release sometime during 2015
