Assimilated is a DJ/producer from Tel aviv, Israel. Influenced by the most hypnotic and abstract sounds of Deep Techno and Psychedelic Trance, he started to develop his producer side in 2017. He is a characterized by long and reverberating pads, enveloping textures, minimal percussion and psychedelic trance synths ,combining saturated timbres, deep sound and atmospheric landscapes. he makes clear his view of the hypnotic and dark techno genre.

On this beautiful autumn day up here in the northern hemisphere, we're very pleased to share another part of the Navigare Podcast series with you.

Our world is slowly waking up again, and with the absence of festivals, we couldn’t be happier than to present a live recording from this year's edition of Modem Festival. 

For the tenth episode, we have invited the talented artist Klara from Skopje, Macedonia, playing her first live set in almost 2 years. She will take you on a journey inspired by finally being among the crowd in the magical environment at the Seed stage, so be prepared to transcend back in time.

Coming from the Land of the Sun, Klara is a prominent artist creating her mark on the global psychedelic, deep and hypnotic techno scene. Her musical talent blossomed in early childhood and nourished in a classical music school as a soprano singer. After mutual band attempts as a teen, she returns to her psychedelic roots, rediscovering a new sense of meaning between the technological and organic realms. She started her DJ-ing career as a resident of the all-girl techno crew Code XX's events in 2015 and is responsible for some of the most forward-thinking electronic sounds coming from North Macedonia. Two years later she starts producing and soon after presents her music in various authentic concert settings such as an ambient live act in a Planetarium, AV concert in the Macedonian philharmonic hall, 18th century church, various regional and international festivals and warehouses with her techno live act. The desire to transform nature’s vibrations into sonic soundscapes is an inevitable part of her journey which may be perceived through her creative work. With her comprehensive DJ and live performances, highly induced by her deep philosophical background and psychological practice, Klara has grown into an artist able to bring a special kind of transcendental state to each of her shows. 

She has recently appeared with her original works on VA compilations for Warok Music, Charybdis, Deep Electronics, as well as presented some of her yet unreleased music on the Hypnus Memoirs. 

Inspired by her ambient project Vedis, she collides those two worlds and brings the Lasya Project to life. Hosting a monthly show focused on atmospheric music in a local online radio, she started inviting artists and labels to showcase their work.

As summer lowers its frequencies, it's time to dive into the emerging autumn vibes with our Berlin-based friend Lilian Stark. 

Like so many of us, Lilian took his first steps on the dancefloors, but soon found his way behind the mixing desk as well. Starting as „Special Guest TBA“ at Duckwater Headquarter, where he did hold a residency from 2014, he had been improving his skills most delightingly attentive watching his fellow DJs such as Josephine Wedekind and CanDjane, to be part of today’s xXeteXx crew, which is widely known for its high quality standards when it comes to psychedelic parties. 

In the mix you are about to hear, Lilian combines his excellent sense for driving grooves and deep spherical vibes with the curiosity for the unexpected.

Circulating Waves #022 - Lilian Stark

In the nineties a move to the UK came as a consequence of his studies and with him a pulsating eagerness that helped Lateral Movement, DJ alias of Ricardo, to dive right into the local music culture, effervescent as ever. There he meandered effortlessly through genres, taking him deeper into the arts whilst aiding his curiosity, from free jazz to indietronica. Returning to his homeland, Portugal, subtracted him from this rich diversity and forced him to become a strong supporter of the alternative scene, where he looked to push people and projects that shared his values and vision. There and then he decided to embark on a different kind of journey and took upon himself the responsibility of discovering new music and sharing it with the community. 

To this day techno and its many guises are his passion, especially the deeper and hypnotic realms, where ambiance and atmosphere play the main role.
