This was the very 1st track I ever produced back in the late 00's as part of the J-Tek sound project I was involded in alongside Outrage, Modular, Randall and many others ....

I named this track Confusion as i was still in the process of learning how to produce music and this was my first effort .....

AST - AIR RAID

Another unreleased track from me from the J-Tek days. Dark Matter was a project i put togther with aim to show the dark deeper sounds that i'm into aswell as the Hardcore Rave element ... This is a unfinished track as i lost the files and wasn't able to finish it, but i'm happy with what i ended up with.

AST - DEEP WITHIN

Being exposed to AST for the first time, it won't take long for you to realize that this gentleman is a thinking man's DJ. This drum and bass connoisseur stems from deep roots in the electronic music scene, drawing on early influences with reggae and dub and the energy of acid house. Hailing from Bedford, UK, this jack of all trade initially made his mark in the lyrical sciences under the pseudonym MC NYX. His quest for better music led him to start DJing in 1998, with his first appearance on Bedford College Radio. Soon, he was playing in Northampton, Coventry and London. 1998 was also the year he teamed up with Outrage leading to a radio show on www.drumandbassworldwide.co.uk.

Soon, it was on to bigger and better things, and AST can now be found playing at notable clubs around Birmingham (most recently The Custard Factory) and London. He's also been brought into the inner circle of drum and bass…playing B2B with Outrage on a live Fire Sessions broadcast from Berlin, and being asked to play a number of parties in support of Digital's Phoenix Rising LP tour. Currently, he is the acting label manager for Backlash Records, and his endeavors have earned him bookings as far away as Bangkok, Thailand and he plans on using the momentum he's experiencing to pursue production full time.

If anything can be said about AST, it is that his ability to share scholarly sets comprised of only the most innovative tunes sets him apart - educating the crowd and urging them to remove any mental block they may have regarding music. So step on to the dance-floor, and let yourself experience what kind of magic can happen with AST behind the decks.
