I first got introduced to Gary a few years back, when he messaged me here on SoundCloud, with his guest mix that he did around Christmas time with @ian.perry.dj and his tribute mix to @djmichaelgrayofficial…

… much banter and musical commonality followed, plus he champions so many great DJ’s on SC, with great feedback and reposts. 

Eternally grateful for the support he gives me, plus so many others on this platform…

Nile Rodgers explains how this song was created. Rejected with bassist Bernard Edwards and their friends at the entrance of Studio 54 in the late 70s. They come back to their apartment despondent, grab a bottle of champagne and their guitars... and sing "F...ck off 54"... the melody is good, you'll just have to change the lyrics...
