Just shy of 1 million Facebook followers as of this writing, Aly & Fila are about as elite as it gets.

A chance to break free. Their third studio album, ‘The Other Shore’ is the magnum opus of artists who have already reached the other side of their craft. No longer out to prove anything, Aly & Fila are free to create exactly the kind of album that they want. The most striking feature of this record is the sheer musicality of every track. Fusing instrumentation from different cultures, genres, and even eras, they’ve blended it all in a style that no one on earth could emulate.

Powerful diversity. From Aruna’s jazzy and minimal title track to ‘In My Mind’ (featuring Karim Youssef & May Hassan), the scope of this record is unimaginable. Songs like ‘Altitude Compensation’ will pull at your heart like a long-lost lover, while ‘Never Let Me Go’ (featuring Seri) is an intimate, remarkable tune made possible by inspired and magical vocals. “Perfection is achieved when there’s nothing left to take away.” Very few producers would have the confidence to strip their tracks down to the bare essentials, leaving nothing left to hide. To pull this off, what’s left has to be almost inhumanly perfect - breath for breath, note for note. You couldn’t take away a single sound or a song from this record and have it be the same, and as impossible as it may seem, it’s hard to imagine Aly & Fila going anywhere but up from here.

The sixth entry in Markus Schulz's chronicled production series for 2015 focuses on a city very close to his heart; one which has played a hugely significant role in his life and career, and still does today. The English capital of London.

Stemming from a two year musical rehabilitation immersed in Brixton, Markus' storied career owes enormous gratitude to the vibrancy and club culture of London; most notably thanks to being home to the iconic Ministry of Sound fixture.

Firstly as a clubber, before returning with the honor of international resident, Markus holds the accolade with dear regard. And a key component has been those countless long nights in control of the musical landscape from the club's main room - The Box.

Therefore, it was only appropriate that as part of his city series vision, the MOS residency and the city of London would be highlighted with a melodic driving trancer to touch the soul, and as the title suggests, to become "Lost in the Box", within the confines of the world famous club.

This is Markus Schulz's ode to London.

Oh, what a meteoric rise it’s been. Supported by a number of timeless, highly-acclaimed, and devastating tracks, the mysterious cloaked duo known only as ‘Gaia’ managed to convert so many of the Trance enthusiasts to their way of thinking, their way of life, and their way of music. But although such a legacy must be cherished, that doesn’t mean one cannot strengthen it any further. 

Hand-picked by Armin van Buuren himself to be the first instant gratification of his mint ‘A State Of Trance 2016’ compilation, ‘Inyathi’ leads the charge on the rest of the global crowds in an attempt to reel them in to its side with stomping beats and soul-nourishing melodies. What started with ‘4 Elements’ and saw its fire re-lit through ‘Tuvan’ picked up pace through magical creations such as ‘Empire Of Hearts’ and ‘Carnation’, only to continue the rampage through ‘Inyathi’. Expect a true dance floor stampede whenever this one hits.
