It was only a couple years ago Eric came back after having a UK Top 40 and Billboard #1 Dance hit w Filo and Peri, and he hasn’t stopped since.

Resuming his spot as one of the “best male vocalists” in dance music, Eric has had nonstop releases in 2015 and 2016 with highly regarded DJs around the world.

His collaborations include ‘Falling Back’ (3 million spotify plays) and ‘Edge of Life’ (2 million spotify plays) with Cosmic Gate, ‘Thank You’ with DJ Antoine (Swiss Top 50 & Austria Top 30), and most recently ‘The Moment’ (3 million spotify plays) with Nicky Romero.

In addition to being an in-demand vocalist/songwriter in the EDM scene, Eric has broken into the pop world.  Upon his first visit to Amsterdam, he wrote the vocal to Sharon Doorson’s Dutch Top 40 hit, Something Beautiful.

Cosmic Gate know that all good things come in threes… Musketeers, Wise Men, Stooges? All threes… Dimensions? Always cooler with that third one! “3” as the saying goes “is the magic number”! After ‘Falling Back’ & ‘Run Away’, Nic, Bossi & Eric Lumiere this month invoke their own rule-of-three, returning with ‘Edge Of Life’ - their (yep!) third single. 

Back in the spring, ‘am2pm’ scored Tune Of The Week & Future Favourite on ASOT, raced to over 1 million Spotify streams and shot to the #1 slot on Beatport’s trance chart. There it lodged for two straight weeks, receiving substantial DJ & radio support from Armin van Buuren, Above & Beyond, Paul van Dyk, Markus Schulz, Ferry Corsten and others throughout. 

Now for summer, the lads are set to field their first vocal number of the year… Premiered, by Armin on ASOT771 and supported by Ferry Corsten, XXX and XXX, it’s also been praised by DJ Mag (in their 8.5/10 scoring review) as Eric’s “finest vocal to date”. For it the Californian’s dug deep and through verse & chorus, brings a cryptic reflective to ‘Edge Of Life’s theme, while Cosmic Gate’s production supplies its uplift. 

Shedding light on their new single, Nic Chagall says: “a couple of months back, Eric, Bossi and I were talking about how so many people that we admired, had been lost to the world this year. Bossi pointed out that those guys had also done a lot with their lives and really made their time count. I think that struck a major chord with us all”. 

“A couple of weeks later” Bossi continues, “Eric dropped us a line to tell us he had a new demo he wanted to share. We spotted right away that lyrically it had come about from the conversation we’d had. Nic & I were so charged, we went into the studio the next morning and started writing the music for it. ‘Edge Of Life’ was born out of that session.”

I am here to share a way that is full of love and light and joy and celebration (even when the shit hits the fan), and that has room for all emotion, challenge and confusion AND total joy, love, celebration...

It works because it is a path of Surrendering to Love and Letting go of the Suffering (resistance) and into the Beloved that Is.

It is the Living, Loving Presence that does the work.
