It's a well-established fact that Aly & Fila carry some serious clout in the industry, and the volume and quality of talent that jumped on the chance to remix 'Quiet Storm' will substantiate this claim. Mark Sherry, John O'Callaghan (who collaborated on the original record as well), Ruben de Ronde, Heatbeat, and a host of other elite producers took a crack at this record, and the diversity and quality of the results speak for themselves. Aly & Fila even took three remixes into their own hands for this release, making sure that absolutely every angle was covered for their live sets.

From the SkyPatrol remix of 'City of Angels' to the intense A&Z remix of 'Tula', there are remixes that take this record from the largest venues straight to an Ibiza beach (Akira Kayosa & Hugh Tolland's 'First Sun' rework). Summer Melody returns with a brand new installment of our Intertwines EP series, showcasing new and upcoming artists in a pair of two, and starting their own fusion towards the label. Our 17th installment includes two progressive tracks from label debutants hailing from Russia and Ukraine respectively.

Starting off with a deep progressive track from Dimas Mixon. An uprising progressive house producer who has released on labels such as Massive Harmony, OLD SQL and Consapevole, Dimas Mixon debuts on Summer Melody with Lights Out. This mesmerising track captures the sense of darkness and the light seeking moment, where hope remains in the distance, such delivered by the progressions from the synthlines, pads and vocal layering in the background. Definitely an artist who needs attention to, we are looking forward to have Dimas again on the label or on our sub-label NuHouse!

Another side of the pairing shows a more upbeat debut from Maxim Kovalskiy. An artist who started his journey last year and focusing on trance, Maxim Kovalskiy debuts on Summer Melody with a progressive track that is melodic-focused with a hint of his trance style. Sunny Day provides with an atmospheric synth melody and solid trance-oriented beat, another beautiful track for the summer with a more uplifting feel.

We hope you enjoy this beautiful pair of label debutants on the Intertwines series, with Dimas Mixon and Maxim Kovalskiy!
