The first time I heard this it was during the opening titles from True Detective.
Yes, I'm a True Detective fan. You have to admit that actually it's a genial and pretty fucking amazing series. I dare to say the best one I've ever seen. And thanks to that I've been able to know such a wonderful piece of music.

Another FamiTracker experiment!

I've been loving Shostakovich's music since my old orchestra days. I used to play two parts (the Waltz and Foxtrot) from the Suite For Jazz Orchestra no. 1, and then I discovered the second Waltz by watching Kubrick's Eyes Wide Shut and it's been an instant crush. Years ago I played this tune in a trio (named Golden Breath Trio) with a self made arrangement, and now I made this. It's been very funny and unexpectedly difficult. I hope you'll enjoy it as well as I did and still do.

I've been at an Arctic Monkeys concerto recently, and it's been an awesome performance.

This song is from Humbug, their 3rd album, my favourite one.

Since the first time I heard this theme by ACE+ from the game Xenoblade Chronicles I fell in love with it. Fascinating atmosphere, great melody, a shitload of epicness.
I made this cover using FamiTracker with the Konami VRC6 expansion.

This year is tough. Easily one of the thoughtest in my life.
I've been dealing with lots of serious personal, emotional and social issues that nearly broke me in half. Over and over again. And the worst part about this shit is that it never ends.
But we must keep on trying, be strong, hanging on, and never lose the determination.
So with this in mind I made this cover/re-arrangement of Bergentrückung-ASGORE + Determination once again from that endless wonder that is Undertale.
I tried to put some of my mad shit in this while trying to keep the original atmosphere at the same time.

Once again here we are, and once again with a submission for the super (even duper) Chiptunes = WIN: Volume 6 compilation!  (that you can find here https://chiptuneswin.bandcamp.com/album/chiptunes-win-volume-6 and I suggest you to buy the entire thing. It's probably the dopest thing ever made).
The track is composed with one Game Boy DMG-01 running LSDj (version 4.7.3). The intro is a home recording of the "soundtrack" of "Gargoyles - Le creature notturne" handheld game by Tiger Electronics.

Long time no see, but as Haseo would say: "I'M RIGHT HERE!" 
:D (fanboy moment, sorry everyone)

Actually this is a really old cover from my first months of chiptune making. Originally I wanted to put this track in an album, but then things happened and I just left it behind. BUT a couple of months ago I tried a little experiment. I thought "how precise am I? Let's mix the original Dol Dona theme on my version and let's see!" and the result was stunning. 
.hack// games have one of the most inspiring soundtracks ever (and it's composed by that beautiful human being that goes by the name of Chikayo Fukuda), and Dol Dona theme is my absolute top choice. 
So this is my little experiment, I hope you wil enjoy it as much as you can. 

BTW I used FamiTracker VRC6 expansion to compose it, Audacity to "glue" together the original and the cover, and finally Reaper to mix/post-produce the whole thing.

Everything about this show is perfectly balanced, studied and never left to chance. Every character is relatable and full of layers. The story is instant catchy, the dialogues are funny and witty, and in the end everything is emotionally speaking just too much to handle.

I composed this track for a compilation that never came out, almost a year has passed so I decided to publish it by myself. 
It's made by OP-1 only and it's a live performance. I used sounds from a pretty neat sample pack (https://tamarackmusic.bandcamp.com/album/op-1-soundpack-a-catalog-of-sad-tomorrows ) made by a guy for said compilation. I can't remeber his name but I'd like to thank him anyway.

La Melodia del Sottopassaggio

This is a live version of the second track of my album Ozymandias. 
I performed this in October 2019 in my hometown, Cremona, for the project "La Stanza Appesa", a really cool showcase for new and emerging  artists. 
It's made with a Game Boy (DMG01) running nanoloop mono, hooked up to a Teenage Engineering OP-1 for live effects.
