basically this girls pokemon wanted to keep her forever so she ingrained her and now their stuck in the ocean drowning but the pokemon keeps healing so she stuck

This song hits you with so many things all while being a banger. A sense of fear looming over you, quick scares of May's sudden pained cries(?), a feeling of hopelessness, yet somehow it can come off as sad given context. Truly a great song/remix

In case anyone wants the lore, team aqua achieved their goal in flooding the earth so may and her pokemon are stuck in the bottom of the ocean suffering for all eternity

Why does the Grass Skirt Chase reference work so well here?

Golden returns with a nastier guitar, killer drums and an updated composition to freshen up the experience!

Kiwiquest approached me some time ago and asked if the original version of Golden could be added to the upcoming Friday Night Funkin': Vs Ourple Guy v2 update, and while my answer was nothing but a resounding yes, I wasn't happy with some parts of the song.

I took issue with some of the choices I made during production, and aspired to fix them and give the overall song a neat little upgrade, I think it came out great! what do you think?

GOLDEN (Ourple Edition) - Friday Night Funkin': Vs Ourple Guy V2

In an alternative timeline during the events of Alpha Sapphire, May had failed to stop Team Aqua from unleashing Primal Kyogre onto the world, causing the planet to quickly be engulfed by the ocean. One by one, May's team drowned due to the unbearable tides, until the only Pokémon she had left was her trusty Roselia. As the Thorn Pokémon watched her beloved trainer slowly fall to the same fate the others had, she decided, as a way to possibly save them both, to use the move Ingrain on the both of them. The vines dragged them both down to the bottom of the ocean floor, seemingly sealing their fate.

However, due to the move's healing abilities, they were unable to fully die, resulting in a fate worse than death. Now they suffer at the bottom of a world that has long forgotten them, unable to break free from the curse that Roselia had unknowingly brought upon themselves.
