This is the first track from an eight song album about suicide. The character leaves this song as his suicide note.

The character realizes what he has done and what he must do to get to here he needs to be- in his body.

The character hasn't realized he is not in his body.

A thief invests his time and energy stealing from his live-in victims. He drains them and moves on.

Someone very successful lost everything because they became too arrogant and trusting of others. They trusted those around them but those around them had only their own selfish interests in mind.

This is an instrumental. It starts out calm and builds into a guitar driven jam.

Recorded onto a Tascam Portastudio DP24CF using an Epiphone Les Paul Studio for the main riff and a Jackson Dinky JS32 for the lead. The two guitars recorded well together. The guitars were run through a NUX MG30 multi effects amp modeler. The drum kit is a Pearl Midtown with Meinl and Dream cymbals. The bass guitar is an Ibanez Soundgear. This is the first track released without an electric drum kit. I hope you enjoy.

Absent

This song is about a suicide that left us all in the dark. There were no red flags. In fact some believed it was potentially a homicide. The loss of this young man was a devastating blow to our community. There is no closure. There was no note left behind or anything to tell us what happened or why. If you know someone showing signs of suicide, please try to get them help. Often times the necessary help is short term but not always.

This is a song about being thankful for what we have.

When you love someone and are obsessed (in a healthy way) it can be breath taking to be around them.

This song is about being around someone who only looks out for themself and uses others to get anywhere in life regardless of the damage done in the process.

Life's short. This song is about someone who lives life recklessly and is angry when confronted by loved ones who want him to be more careful.
