We’re already hitting February in elrow Music HQ and as starting point, here it is the first of two references to spread the love around in Valentine’s month. ERM097 is brought to us by Italian duo Supernova (aka Emiliano Nencioni & Giacomo Godi), a three tracker short take named ‘City Lights EP’. Opening the EP we have ‘Rock The Disco (Original Mix)’, a track high in energy, very playful and with that carnivalesque vibe we all love from elrow latest releases. Following, we find ‘What What (Original Mix)’, that starts just where ‘Rock The Disco’ left it, with a perfectly recognizable tech-house progression, less energetic but with a great vibe of its own, making it a great selection for moody times on the dancefloor, putting the highlight on the sirens by the final section of the track. But the real banger here is ‘Get Hot (Original Mix)’, a track with a truly unique vibe since the beginning till the end, thanks to those horn sounds, strong percussion and subtle and tender vocal line in the background, with great attention to small details. Mid Feburary already and things don't seem to slow down here, at elrow Music's HQs, with yet another banger for this carnivalesque month. This time, our partner in crime is UKs Dale Howard, who delivers this 'Alfagarth EP', a four tracker with two originals and two crushing remixes by Eli Brown and the team formed by Luca Donzelli & Mar-T.

The EP opens up with the track naming it, 'Alfagarth (Original Mix)', a song with a strong and loose percussion, with wooden touches, a reassuring hip-hopish female vocal and a great set of atmospheric FX, making this a perfect track for any moment on the floor.

Then we have 'Alfagarth (Eli Brown Remix)', in which Eli Brown turns the original into a tighter affair, maintaining the steadiness of the vocal line, adding some proper FX trickery and looping treatment for some added dancefloor madness.

After it, we find 'Turn It Louder (Original Mix)', a track that starts with a quieter rhythm, but that breaks into full energy turning into a real banger, with a pretty good vocal line that fills the floor with energy and that telephone effect that will drag the attention of the crowd for sure.

And finally, closing the EP we have Luca Donzelli and Mar-T's take of 'Turn It Louder (Luca Donzelli & Mar-T remix), in which the pair manages to turn the track into a complete different beast, with a much more aggressive dancefloor progression, stronger percussion, taking the vocals into the back of the track, adding some atmosphere and infusing it with a 90s kind of vibe that will draw any crowd mad, specially thanks to that classic sample that will tear up the floor apart.

Dale Howard - Alfagarth

Giulio aka Astin was born in Naples, 12 years later he moves to Caserta where start his love for the music listening a grunge group, “Nirvana”. The adolescence music drives him in the hip hop direction, and it is still in his music today.

In '99 Astin goes in touch with House and tech house music, he goes to club in Campania and starts to playing in that club
In 2007 he moves to bologna, where he knows new places and he appreciates new kinds of music like minimal continuing to look for his music style.

In 2009 he releases his first ep whit Paked Music in Madrid, in the same year he become notorious playing in the most famous club of bologna, Cassero, Kinder Garten, RedRum,The Club, Doc Show.

in 2013 Astin is taken into account by the famed Riva Starr's label, Snatch! Records, which has produced artists such as Carl Cox, Dj Sneak, Fat Boy Slim, Ramon Tapia, Pirupa, Leon and the same Riva.
He made hid debut with the Ep “I’m Sorry”.

In 2014, with the same label, the single “Dejected” debut, track played by many artists, like Marco Carola, Davide Squillace, Sven Vath, Carl Cox and many more.

Next year, in 2015 debut two fantastic remixes of Sidney Charles and Paul C & Paolo Martini.

In the same year Astin started a collaboration with Waveshape, releasing tracks in the same label “Snatch” and on the american “Inmotion”.

In 2016 Astin Releases one Ep on Davide Squillace’s “This And That Lab”, and one Ep on Moan Recordings, an italian promising label.
