WE USED TO DANCE

ASTORIA is a French duo created in July 2022.

Very quickly the complementarity of their experiences within different musical projects as well as their respective influences created the foundations of the ASTORIA project.

Influenced by groups such as DAFTPUNK, CASSIUS, ST GERMAIN, DIMITRI FROM PARIS, JUSTICE and Funk music from the 70s, the duo quickly had the desire of a sound both "dancefloor" and "chill".
ASTORIA's music is tinged with HOUSE, SOUL, FUNK, AFRO FUNK, LATIN, ACID JAZZ, HIP-HOP...sometimes even ROCK, the groove remaining for them the base and leitmotiv of this project.

For their music, they decided to take up the challenge of only using GarageBand loops or creating them.
