Aware Part II

This ambient piece of music is a dedication (and a remake of sorts) to my late grandfather Emile "Whistling Bill" Bedard. This track features a clip of the original song Emile wrote to his soulmate (my late grandmother Lona Bedard) while he was training in the Mohave Desert during World War II. The original song was named "The Lonesome Soldier". Emile and Lona were both talented musicians but even better human beings and will be greatly missed.

The foundation piano chord progression was composed by my 13 year old daughter who is becoming a great artist. I loved the chord progression so much, I asked for her permission for her dad to create a full arrangement and produce the piece. She graciously said I could as long as I kept the name of the song  "Follow Your Light." So, there you have it.
