Inspired by Roxana, the Persian princess of Bactria and the daughter of a nobleman named Oxyartes. She married the King of Macedonia: Alexander when he professed his love for her in the fortress around 327 B.C.E. 
The name Roxana means: The dawn and luminous beauty (in both Persian and Bactrian)

This VA has been inspired by all the women warriors in Persian history, who have enormously impacted the ancient civilisation.
We dedicate each track to the strong women from that era, when women were treated equally with the men.
'Zan' means woman on Persian/Farsi language.
The album contains a huge tracklist by some of the biggest and most talented artists of #underground darkpsy scene, selected carefully by our #Persian label djs & crew members:

VA Entropic Density is a new compilation which brings the dark and psycore tunes together from different sides of the world, compiled by oxomo, mastered by Syncra, release by Metacortex Records.

Entropic Density is a concept we created and it symbolizes the density of the particules that scattered around after the big bang (which is still a mysterious theory involving entropy), to create our expanding universe. It is the density of creation, free flow of the matter and force of the universe that is present in every particle. Each matter has its own space and power; while the universe expands and each piece has its own frequency and vibration as well as its own sound. We try to combine the dark sides of experimental and psycore with their own entropic elements in an innovative and experimental way.

Gabriel Suarez grew up in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. He spent his youth days skating and listening to Punk Rock and Metal; then at the age of 20 he found his first Psytrance party and fell in love with electronic  music. In 2003 Gabriel started DJing, this swiftly led him on a journey into music production under the alias Biomechanic in 2004. Soon he became well known on the scene playing at many parties and festivals in Brazil including Universo Parallelo. After he moved to London in 2010, Gabriel joined  forces with a friend on a Dark Psychedelic  project known as Insane Creatures, they were soon in demand playing across Europe in many parties and festivals including Modem.
Astral Labyrinth is Gabriel’s current solo project based in the UK. Having mastered the art of dark sounds he is now focusing on specific frequencies to distinguish an original dark style of Hitech. His use of strong basslines carried through dark atmospheric soundscapes, overlaid with chasing technological FX induce a deep spiritual connection throughout its psychedelic journey.
Astral Labyrinth is a regular name on London Underground scene and is starting to get International recognition having played at festivals such as Tundra in Lithuania, Praktishakti in Nepal and Nyahbinghi in Brazil.
