DJ Supermarkt came across this rare private press 7 Inch a long time ago, and since tried to locate the band to include the track on his Too Slow To Disco compilation series. After years he found bandleader Jeff Wollman, who gave TSTD permission to finally rerelease this funky space beauty for the first time on the new compilation TSTD 4.
The story could have ended here, but Jeff and DJ Supermarkt went one step further, and came up with the plan to give the track to a few selected producers for new versions/reworks. We contacted our favorite smooth space approved producers of today, and they all said “Yes” and we are super proud to now give you: The Reworks!

January 2016 sees the launch of the Omnibeats Compilation series with ‘Our Past Our Future’
mixed by Marsupials.

The Omnibeats Compilation series will see artists dig back through the catalogue of Champion Records and
Kerri Chandler’s MadTech and Madhouse imprints to deliver a fresh mix of the precursory output, as well as
the original content being offered up alongside the mix. Up first is Marsupials aka Luigi Giomini and
Massimiliano Miele, an Italian duo most notably known for their work with imprints such as Large Music,
Scucci Manucci and of course Madhouse.

With those affiliate labels in mind it’s no surprise to hear Marsupials’ mix laced with soulful house sounds
such as Dreamer G’s piano and stab-led ‘I Got That Feelin’ (Deep Mix)’, Kerri Chandler’s ‘Love Is Over’ and
also the Madhouse master’s rework of the classic ‘Show Me Love’ by Robin S, one of Champion Records
many hit records.

In amongst these retrospective choices the duo have also opted to throw in compositions from many of the
contemporary driving forces in house music such as Seb Wildblood, Waze & Odyssey, No Artificial Colours
and Walter Ego, taken from their respective EP’s on the MadTech imprint.

This New York label started in 1887 and took inspiration from Trax Records, both musically and aesthetically.
