Originally released on CD in 1999, Astral Industries present a first vinyl issue of Monolake’s much-loved ‘Gobi’, licensed from Imbalance Computer Music. Set to the backdrop of the Gobi desert in eastern Asia, two shimmering vistas plunge the listener into a vast and deeply hypnotic nocturnal soundscape. The perennial hiss and rattle of insects float along the fresh night air in soft waves. The desert thrives with quiet activity as a westerly wind skitters across moonlit dunes, granulated folds dancing like sheets of thin silk. Tectonic plates murmur beneath the shower of stars overhead, their millennial cycles whispering of aeons past. Vividly textured and enticingly synthetic in its sound design, Gobi succeeds as a stunning piece of minimalism.

Hey fellow, today here's a new trip from Brussels's talent Salah.

Salah is an artist, producer and live performer based in Brussels. His first release was published by @aardenrecords, from Ghent, in 2019. This four-track EP is about exploring the hypnotic side of techno with a groovy sound and cultural influences, originating from his middle eastern roots.

"This is the way for me, on this podcast, to show what my vision of
ambient music is. With the desire to mix with various contents, to give
good energy for a relaxing and a meditative feeling."

The picture was taken by himself at Ischia, an island in the napolitan Bay, with a special analog film that give that beautiful and different nuances of blue.

For AI-21, Italian duo The Abyss Within Us enters the fold. The project, consisting of Claudio Porceddu (Claudio PRC) and Stefano Ferrari (menion), combines lush ambient textures with beguiling mysticism. Originally performed in Ankali, Prague, the rich and expansive ‘Life in a Circle’ constitutes a 2-part journey deep into darker, farther places. Chasmic frequencies hark back to an ancient ritualism, punctuated by uplifting moments breathing with elegiac grandeur.

The Exhibition reimagines the concept with renewed purpose, opening the gates to deliver an arresting 60-minute journey into the underworld. Dense soundscapes mutate with alchemic fluidity, unravelling with vast symphonic counterpoints and synesthetic textures. Intoxicating in its Mephistolean dissonances and ambitious sonic structure, the sprawling "Rückverzauberung” itself becomes a nebulous organism shrouded in the seeping mist of the unknown.
