Here is my opening set for Township Rebellion, one of my more difficult opens to plan for but man was it fun and it really surprised me how well the dancefloor received it. We all wish and love to slam peak time, but sets like these are the ones that really demand the most skill and focus from you. Its a pleasure and relief when they land well, hope this one does for you too.

One of my favorite spaces to play, always having great sound and an incredible crowd vibe. Born and raised in Rome, Italy, Astra now performs regularly in Toronto, Canada, among many of their top venues such as Coda, Vertigo, Nomad and the festival Electric Island.

Supporting international acts such as Space 92, Layton Giordani, Maddix, Wehbba, Alex Stein, Mha Iri, Luigi Madonna, Joyhauser, NoNameLeft and Township Rebellion he has continued to make a name for himself in the city with regular performances. 

With a long history of producing various genres under other aliases since 2012, most notably Big Room and Dubstep of which his alias Love X Violence ran through most of the 2010's. 

Astra has now blended those styles with his own push towards the self labeled Festival Techno, an uplifting but likewise heavy and full of groove style not shy of melody but keeping impact on drops. Known for his original productions, Astra also curates his sets full of personalized edits and live performed mashups.
