Solitude

pMad new single ‘Fire’ opens with his signature bassline, setting the tone for what's to come. The vocals kick in, accompanied by pounding drums, electrifying guitars, incredible synths that create a banging anthem that pulls the listeners into the heart of the song.

Our planet is on ‘Fire’, do we have the time and the will to save it?  Will those with the Power and the Money be willing to sacrifice their profits or will they wait until they can make a new fortune in telling us they saved us?

About time!
The expression “time flies when you are having fun” may be true, but time always runs out in the end!  We can only experience time when our mind is awake and in the present. The present is the point at which we toggle from the past and into the future. So, what does it mean to “live each day as if it were the last” or “live in the present”?  The smallest unit of time every recorded is a zeptosecond, a trillionth of a billionth of a second and looks like this: 0.000 000 000 000 000 000 001.  Soooo, it seems to me that we spend most of our time, in theory, in the past, because everything we have experienced and learned is stored in our mind.  We can imagine and plan for the future but can only remember the past.  Are you confused?  I am!

Time Flies

Claude Debussy: "Music is the space between the notes".

It is hard to define what he meant by "the Space".  When I listen to some music, there is usually something subtle that grabs me and evokes an emotional response.  It can make me physically tingle. It can make tears well up or cause a wave of pure joy.  Music is more than just notes.  

With The Space Between I am laying down my commitment to find "the Space" myself and communicate it to you.  I don't know if I have found it yet, I suspect not but maybe I am getting closer. Only you can decide. But one thing is for sure, I will keep looking.

In this piece, I start to explore combining modern sounds with more classical ones.  I am drawn to exploring this type of fusion more.
