This is my remix of a track from @archmageband2 called Workplace Challenges. It's my first time working with Rob Ulysses (@rob-ulysses) and Masha Solo (@masha-solo).

I built on the theme and concept that they had developed, but took this mix in a slightly different direction compared with their original piece which I hope you will be interested to also check out:

Time flies. It’s already mid February.
Most of the snow has started to disappear. Soon spring will come. In Japan March is the end of the fiscal year, when we meet newcomers and leave the old behind. I get somewhat sentimental.

We live a few 1000 kms apart across Australia so this a file swapping exercise. This is the latest from Texas Tea called "Mindless" - a tune Terry sent over and on hearing it, I was inspired to grab the old Fender Acoustasonic as well as the e-Bow and lay down some tracks which Terry then mixed and produced into his synth lines giving the track the organic feel that we were going for. Analog power. Made in the epic studio of Maxxerati. Surrounded by drumcomputers and synthesizers from way back in time. I believe the drums are made with the Roland CR-80 human rhythm player and bass, strings and pads from Roland Juno 6. There is a lot of magic in the instruments from back the days.

Neon Ghosts is our little detour into a completely different world – away from the dark realms, diving into a synthetic ocean of neon lights, retro beats, and cyberpunk melancholy. This synthwave–electro–ambient album is a passion project by Raphaela Hartmann, Sascha Häusler, and Thomas Kaiser – all devoted fans of synthwave and cyberpunk culture.

We simply couldn’t resist exploring this genre ourselves – painting glitch-stars across the digital sky and creating soundscapes that feel like neon rain, chrome dreams, and distant cityscapes.

This is just our first step – an experiment, a side project made with love and pure fun.
