Over the course of 1 hour and 30 minutes, I warmed up the dance floor with a selection of underground grooves, featuring hypnotic melodies and driving rhythms crafted to keep the energy flowing. It’s a sonic journey that balances introspection with dance-floor energy, designed for those who love getting lost in the moment.

Cymatic locks in with Thönis & Otawanta for their first drop on the label - Straightforward, a deep and dubby house EP that leans heavy into groove and atmosphere. Joining them on remix duties are Junior Kurtis and Eastmynd who both bring two distinct moods and energies to the original.  

The original rolls smooth with silky vocal stabs and delicate guitar touches that glide effortlessly over the highly infectious and glitchy groove. We love this new take on Deep House, blending  many different styles and techniques to create a track that can be played poolside or on a dance floor.   

On the flip side, Junior Kurtis takes his remix into a classic dub cut with a weighty low-end, rich textures, and that endless space to get lost in - the stuff dreams are made from! 

Closing up the EP we have EASTMYND bringing a warmer, sun-soaked twist through his lush pads and airy synth work, you could say a mix of the previous two tracks to create the perfect blend of deep dub and House.

For #180, and in conjunction with his brand new Animalia EP that is officially out today - here's Sub Basics, UK based producer, with a mix made up of 100% of his own productions.

Tom aka Sub Basics has been humbly putting music into the world via Temple of Sound , Modern Hypnosis and more, for the last few years.  Personally, when I first discovered his tunes a while back, it was a no brainer to work with him on an EP. His  music somehow sits at the perfect junction of so many different genres, moods and styles I enjoy. A versatile and prolific producer. Super happy to welcome him to the Animalia family.

Founder of @houseofunitylabel & @k67radio, Paradiso Rhythm got into music production 6 years before he started playing records. His self-released debut album titled "Luv Grooves" and his anthems "Greetings & Salutations", "Paradise of Temptation" and "Forever Sade" were released on vinyl by labels WOLF Music, Pétrole and Dream Raw Recordings, RTCT, Nerang Recordings or Hustler Trax. 

Year after year he kept releasing music on established labels and on his own. Shemotions (2020) on Releisure NYC or newest HoU release Hypnotic Delight (2022) are proof that is not afraid of experimenting with new sounds. His DJ sets have been seen & heard in Paris, Berlin, Vienna, Munich, Zurich, Warsaw and several other cities across Europe. Back in 2020 he was part of dMIT.RY's Neo Violence Takeover on Hör. 

His music was supported & played by the names like Move D, Shur-I-Kan, Lefto Early Bird, DJ Boring, Moxie, Asquith and aired on several radio stations like NTS, Rinse FM, LOT Radio, Balamii, Kiosk, Lovele Amsterdam, Soulection
