I wrote and recorded this at a time in my life where I had felt a rush with real love (and loss) for the first time. And became so scared of losing something I had been searching for.. for so long. It made me terribly sad. At the same time my life was going in a downward spiral, I was losing everything I had built up for myself left and right. Only having this person to look towards, and look forward to. But they let me fall desperately in their arms...knowing of everything I wanted, and everything I lost. And not really giving a fuck. All i had left was my love to give and of course that wasn't enough for them. Without my material wealth or a title I was nothing to them. In the midst of writing this song my intuition was giving me all the signs to back out now. But my dumd ass just couldn't...I couldn't walk away 
from the last thing that I thought was holding me together. But really looking back on it now, was the reason everything was falling apart. 
I see that now, but i couldn't believe that then. I believe I definitely learned my lesson, and my search for real love atm has come to an end. Through all the unnecessary pain and just plain bullshit I had to go through, and dealing with the insensitivity and selfishness of others, I don't believe in this time period I'll ever find the real love I once searched for. But it's okay because through all this hurt, heartache, depression and loneliness...I built love for myself, I found a quiet happiness in being in the company of just my own and that's all I ever needed. And I'm happier, lol did I mention I was frickin happier :) .
