Took quite a while to flip this one, luckily the acapella sounded right over the beat straight away, they both have a nice full sound which made them blend well. I feel like Jungle Brothers are pretty underrated considering how many great albums they put out since the 80s, this album especially is dope cause they really managed to stay fresh, some real standout tracks from 1997 on the album, especially the track with Q Tip and De La Soul. Hope people like the more positive upbeat vibe of this one, thanks for listening!

Hello, this is a long overdue. "BACKPRINTS" is a collection of instrumentals originally produced for a friend of mine's project. Most of these beats were put together anywhere between 2018-2020. Originally I'd intended to release this as early as mid-2020, but due to struggles with my mental health and well-being, atop of near-isolation during the lockdown, it was put off time and time again. I figured now's a better time than never to release it, and hope someone finds joy in listening to this stuff.

I may not make a full return ever to be as active in publishing and engaging as I was at one point, but rest assured I'm doing very well and I'm happy where I am in life right now. I still make beats. I still make loops. I still love music through and through. Maybe one day I'll let you listen to some of it, but for now, stay safe. Take care of yourself and your loved ones. This is one of beats I made in my SP 404 SX. I had to finish to record the 2nd sample part because the SP 404 always made it offbeat which pretty annoying.

But yeah this is my first SP 404 SX that's now out in the public.

SOULMEEX sixth label release is finally here, delivering a luminous burst of dancefloor energy with The Velvet Dust EP by Faroese-Copenhagen artist Brynjolfur. Infused with Balearic dream house aesthetics, it unfolds as a three-track euphoric journey. Deeply cinematic yet built for the club.

The EP features Skyline Groove, Solstice Serenade, and Golden Circle, each offering a different facet of Brynjolfur distinctive sound. To complete the package, Portuguese-Italian producer Vhyce delivers a striking remix of Skyline Groove, adding his own personal touch.

The visual identity of the release is completed with artwork by Icelandic photographer Valtýr Daregard, adding an atmospheric layer to the record.
