The latest edition of our free download series finds Ezequiel Arias returning for his second appearance. Hailing from Cordoba, the Argentinean artist has grown into one of his country’s most prodigious progressive house talents. Upon making his debut in 2013, Ezequiel became a favourite of both Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren. Subsequent releases on Plattenbank, Replug, Sudbeat and The Soundgarden followed shortly thereafter and cemented the Argentine’s place amongst the progressive house elite. Ezequiel made his debut on our free download series with the well received ‘2AM’. Written in conjunction with fellow countryman and Sudbeat artists Interaxxis the track featured heavily in the sets of progressive house tastemakers Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Guy J, Guy Mantzur and Sahar Z. Now returning for his second appearance Ezequiel unveils his much sought after ‘Private’ remix of Michael A’s ‘Ciklus One’. Originally released on Proton, Ezequiel’s interpretation has been shrouded in mystery after being aired in Hernan’s sets for the better part of a year. Now after much demand the track is finally available as an exclusive free download. We hope you enjoy it.

On the first day of 2020, @Ida-Engberg made her Cityfox and Avant Gardner debut, filling the Void in Brooklyn with a decadent four-hour techno set for all to two-step into the new year. 'The Arrival,’ an audiovisual installation from visionary A/V architect duo, 404.zero, designed a spatial fantasy that interacted with the height of the drops and the depth of the bass, creating a journey of sound that lured people in from every corner of the five-stage complex. Listening back to this incredible early evening in January with Ida will surely have you craving her beats for weeks. Rayson Diaz, a contributor for FreshMusicFreaks.com writes, “Around 3 pm I decided to check out the lovely Ida Engberg, some of you may know her as Adam Beyer’s wife but I know her as a Techno goddess after this set. The production in the room known as the Void was insane thanks to a special art installment, which perfectly matched the intensity of her set.” 

A product of Sweden's techno scene, Ida Engberg has distinguished herself as a DJ/Producer through relentless hard work, passion, and her discerning ear for deep house. Her versatility and performance energy is infectious; whether she’s playing big room techno at Drumcode shows or waking up the spirits at after-hours all around the world, Ida continues to surprise and entice the sophisticated ears of the most committed techno listeners. Last February 2020 before we were all sent into confinement due to this Covid-19 pandemic my way of communicating with you has been making bootlegs and special edits from tracks or soundtracks that influenced me in a way. 

Late in the 20th Century, Ridley Scott crafted a film that would become a landmark of science fiction.  Blade Runner is, at it's heart, a story about what it means to be human in the future based in huge corporations with controlled and impoverished masses.  Does this sound familiar to you???
This is my tribute to the final and iconic track of this masterpiece done by the master Vangelis.
