This song is a reflection of where I feel like I'm at in life. Lots of us were told we had "so much potential" when we were kids, only to end up... not doing anything especially noteworthy. So I had some feels about that.

Wasted

The best parts of fall, all in one track. For some of us, it's fall in our hearts all year round.

That’s the part of fall I really find appealing, though maybe I don’t know I did too much revealing.
It gets cold enough that it will fog and show your breath, that will serve as a reminder of your coming death.

Yesterday I was intensely feeling the feels for how fleeting any feeling of belonging is. When we're in school, it feels like that place will be a part of you forever, but then you graduate (hopefully) and go your own way. Even if you go back and visit, your classmates are all gone, and there's no place for you anymore. You can't ever belong there again.

Disbelonging

I'm anime trash, and I'm proud of it. In this song I just let that weeb flag fly. Also, the Japanese portions below are written in hiragana and katakana because fuck kanji.

Anime Trash

In the White Stripes' original track, "Seven Nation Army", Jack White plays the song on the guitar using an octave-down pedal to play the bass line. This is a "reverse" cover, where both the guitar and bass sections are played on a bass using an octave-up pedal.

This song is a bit of a departure for me, as I'm singing instead of rapping, and also playing the bass. I can't emulate Jack White's vocal range, so I adapted the vocal melody to better suit my range, to varying degrees of success.
