Zságer Balázs 'Solar Body' (Free Sequence)

Focusing on atmospheric electronica, the Budapest based label Free Sequence drops the new compilation 'Transcendent Waves', presenting a fine selection of ambient, drone and experimental compositions featuring artists from Budapest, Japan, Italy, Sweden, Belgium and the UK. 'Transcendent Waves' is also the name of the event series that showcases ambient live acts in Budapest for an immersive experience.

The title of Zságer Balázs's track, 'Solar Body' refers the solar consciousness, which means you are completely and absolutely in the present moment. When you die your personality is washed out by a sort of 'cosmic washing machine' and you are left with a kernel of pure energy. If you develop the solar body it doesn't happen, you put your consciousness into the solar body at the moment of death then your consciousness completely unbroken for eternity.

Microcosmos Records is pleased to announce the release of Resurgent Worlds, an album by EDD-989.

Resurgent Worlds is the fourth full album by Eduard Korkin, a.k.a. EDD-989, an electronic music producer from St.Petersburg, Russia.

Eduard experimented variously in electronic music genres, which led to making his first several chillout tracks in 2011, and it finally determined the main line in his music production. In 2018, Microcosmos Records released the debut album by EDD-989, which was particularly admired by fans of space chillout.

Resurgent Worlds is remarkable for its mild groovy mood, and top-notch sound design quality. The integrity of this music work merges from the skilful analog synthesis and the masterful sampling of acoustic percussions, as well as from many years of Eduard's experience rocking club and festival dance floors. The album has a distinguished dance pulse with a playful mellow mood, involving all features of a cosmic chillout. According to Eduard, the album is to bring the reflection about the cyclicity of the Universe, about distant planets with atmospheres full of "amrita", the elixir of life, the birth of new extraterrestrial civilizations.

Hoova's 'Midnight' EP offers a soothing and mellow listening experience with its downtempo electronic vibes. The two tracks on the EP transport the listener to a calm and peaceful state of mind.

The title track 'Midnight' sets the tone with a laidback beat and atmospheric synths that evoke the stillness of the night. Astropilot is the alias of electronic musician Dmitry Redko. His music is hard to constrain to a single style, rather, it’s an eclectic blend that defies boundaries. Whether it is a chillout-ambient composition or a more dance-oriented track, Dmitry aims to “tell a story” with it. Astropilot authored soundtracks for popular apps Solar Walk / Star Walk, which were downloaded over 10 million times. Material created over the years had been released on labels familiar to electronic music connoisseurs – Ultimae, Iboga, JOOF.
