Christer Borge-Lunde is the primary member of RA has been part of the mythic trance group Dimension 5, with whom he collaborated to produce their last album “Second Phaze” on Blue Moon Productions, UK & Thailand; re-released by Global Trance Network in 2001.

While RA has contributed to various compilations, this will be his first full release since his album “9th” on Suntrip Records in 2008. 
Four years of professional growth and fruitful effort have yielded his long awaited third album!

 “Unearthly” brings us the rare experience of melodic Goachill and the beautiful vocal contributions of Christer's sister Marthe. 

A subtle pulsing energy drives this album forward while the listener is  ebb and flow of the of the slower tempos. 

A perfect balance of styles executed with passion and skill that can build and sustain the morning energies at the start of the day as well as gradually ease the listener into an energized sort of relaxation.

Microcosmos Records is pleased to announce the release of Resurgent Worlds, an album by EDD-989.

Resurgent Worlds is the fourth full album by Eduard Korkin, a.k.a. EDD-989, an electronic music producer from St.Petersburg, Russia.

Eduard experimented variously in electronic music genres, which led to making his first several chillout tracks in 2011, and it finally determined the main line in his music production. In 2018, Microcosmos Records released the debut album by EDD-989, which was particularly admired by fans of space chillout.

Resurgent Worlds is remarkable for its mild groovy mood, and top-notch sound design quality. The integrity of this music work merges from the skilful analog synthesis and the masterful sampling of acoustic percussions, as well as from many years of Eduard's experience rocking club and festival dance floors. The album has a distinguished dance pulse with a playful mellow mood, involving all features of a cosmic chillout. According to Eduard, the album is to bring the reflection about the cyclicity of the Universe, about distant planets with atmospheres full of "amrita", the elixir of life, the birth of new extraterrestrial civilizations.

The sound of this EP is downtempo, chillout and ambient with psychedelic elements.
The tracks create a dreamy, floaty headspace through the use of lush pads, ethereal synths, and gentle rhythms.
The overall vibe is very chilled-out and relaxing, suitable for meditation or just zoning out.

Track by Track:

'Under a Bright Star' starts things off slowly with shimmering keys and a warm bassline that builds in intensity over time. This sets the tone for the EP's soothing yet engaging soundscape.
'Unknown Signal' takes the listener on a more psychedelic journey with trippy synth effects and a pulsing beat that evokes the feeling of floating through space.
'Endless Energy' is the highlight of the EP, transporting the listener to an almost out-of-body state through its use of atmospheric sounds and a hypnotic rhythm.
'Gravitational Singularity' closes the EP by washing over the listener with soothing ambient textures, leaving one feeling refreshed and recharged.

This is a very well-crafted EP that achieves its goal of creating a meditative yet engaging listening experience through sound. The tracks are expertly produced and arranged to build a cohesive journey from start to finish.

While the music may not break any new ground stylistically, it executes the downtempo-psychill styles very well, making for a relaxing and thought-provoking listen.
I would highly recommend this EP for fans of ambient, chillout and downtempo music looking for something to help them zone out and recharge.
The mood and vibe created here are truly transportive, and the production quality is high throughout. This is the kind of EP I can see myself returning to again and again for moments of calm reflection.
