To celebrate their five years on the planet, we have a trio of releases lined up. That's three, as in a troika, trifecta, threesome, triumvirate, trilogy or even a hat-trick (or should that actually be a hat- track?). Three releases, each containing three tracks. Three times three is nine. It's a veritable prime number fiesta. Part two, which comes out on April 23th, features Borka and Joe collaboration, the Italo-house channelling 'Closer is not enough', a Metzenmacher solo joint, the deep-as-you-like 'Petersika' while Borka & The Gang complete the trio with the anthem 'Salt Water'.

'Friday Fox’s Lewis Daniels is back with a sublime new solo single, exploring all things quirky and cool with his latest oddball creation, ‘Love Puss’. This strangely alluring kooky track is ripe for the underground, teased with a pinch of sleazy Disco and driven by a smouldering low slung bass groove, deep pads, brass stabs and loose beats. Offering their unique twist on this eccentric jam with a selection of potent Deep, Disco and Acid grooves are Friday Fox partner in crime Christian B, Belgium’s Khillaudio, Australian Meraki Soul, and the UK producers, Simon Morgan and Rhodesy.

Lewis Daniels is known for his relaxed and no-nonsense approach to House Music, delivering original releases through his solo work and together as a duo with Christian B mainly via their own Friday Fox Recordings label since 2013. Formerly known as ‘Lavvy Levan’, Lewis now records solely under his own name and is happiest when found somewhere in the dark recesses between House and Disco, connecting the dots between original Disco nuggets and their modern peers. Lewis has been in and around dance music since the early 1990s, with influences from both the eclectic and commercial ends of the musical spectrum, meaning he knows how to deliver solid underground sets lined with the odd classic – moulding to the needs of the crowd with ease. His releases from the last 8 years have been well received with support from an eclectic selection of DJs and artists including Laurent Garnier, Mark Doyle, Ashley Beedle, Severino, Lenny Fontana, Stonebridge, and many more.'

Astro Raph (born Jacob Shier) began producing Jungle/Drum’nBass, Trip Hop and House and DJing in 1993. He moved to Boulder, Colorado where he did a weekly 3 hour show on Amino Internet Radio; even landing the opportunity to open for Ambient DJ Mix Master Morris (aka The Irresistible Force). In ’98 he appeared on a compilation known as “Awake In The Lap Of A Dream” through the record label Freakie People. 

It was in 2005 when Astro moved to Hawaii and hooked up with local DJ crew ‘ChillTown Maui’ before getting signed with Cold Busted Records. His first release with the label being a remix of Gramatik’s “Tearin’ It Up”. In 2011, he won 2nd place in the Mauitimes ‘Weekly Best Of” for best DJ on the island. 

2014 saw Astro Raph getting signed to Gravitas Records with a release titled “Eternal Spirit”. It includes collaborations with Audio Diplomats and Keen Klaws, and features remixes by Wolf-e-Wolf and Soulular.

In 2016, he released with another label focused on ambient and electronica with chill-trap influences, Cyborg Recordings. In 2018 he landed gigs with Proper Chicago Drum & Bass crew and worked an internship with Maek Records. 

In 2020 Astro started releasing deep house and techno with Trax Mission Records. He currently holds down a weekly Mixcloud show at www.mixcloud.com/live/astro303/ on Saturdays, Wednesdays and Mondays at 5pm [CDT] and is in Full Sail University getting a degree in Music Production.
